1. Can we drop the cargo to your warehouse?

You can drop the cargo directly to airline handling warehouse close to you. However please note before taking the shipment to the airline warehouse you need to have an Airway bill or an Airway bill number as the Airline warehouse will not accept the shipment if not. In order to issue an airway bill or and airway bill number we need to have the following details

  • Name and address of the shipper:
  • Name and address of the Consignee:
  • Service Required: Door to Door / Air port to Airport / Door to Air Port / Air Port to Door
  • Dead Weigh of the box and Dimensions of the box (cm): H x W x L -

If you are unsure about the exact dimensions of your cargo, you can give us approximate dimensions. This will cost you a further £1.50 per piece as we then have to request the Airline to measure your cargo once it is delivered to airline warehouse. If the difference between approx dimensions and actual dimensions are more, you have to pay the difference (Please note that the shipment will not be sent until you have paid the amount in full) – If the difference is less, we will refund you the excess. Also if you can’t take a print out of the Air way bill you get charge extra £10.

8. What’s the insurance cover for my shipment?

Airlines, freight forwarders and other supply-chain parties operate under limited liability conditions. This means you’re unlikely to receive compensation equal to the actual value of your goods if they’re lost or damaged. The full replacement value for consignments and any applicable freight costs should therefore be protected by adequate insurance cover by the customer.

However, insurance cover doesn’t normally extend to protecting consequential loss. An example of this is where a consignment is delayed en route so that, on arrival at the destination, a financial loss is incurred due to the delay. Check with insurers before goods are shipped to

see if you need this type of cover.

Make sure your consignments are adequately insured. Consider if they are subject to risks and choose insurance to cover these.
